How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a space frisbee you will need:
- 1 white plastic frisbee
- 1 half-sphere made of polystyrene
- acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- a caterpillar (length: 30 cm)
- Funky Emotion eyes
- gems
- glue sticks
- Hasulith glue
- a cutter
Step 1
Paint a half styrofoam ball with acrylic paint.
Let the paint dry for about 30 minutes.
This half ball will represent the head of an alien.
Step 2
Stick a pair of Funky Emotion eyes directly into the polystyrene.
Step 3
Cut a 30 cm caterpillar into two equal parts.
Step 4
Wrap a 15 cm caterpillar around a pencil as shown in the picture on the side.
Step 5
Remove the chenille from the pencil and then pull on the ends to slightly enlarge it.
Do the same with the second chenille.
Step 6
Insert the 2 twisted caterpillars into the polystyrene to create the alien's antennas.
Step 7
Glue the half-sphere to the center of the frisbee using craft glue.
Don’t hesitate to apply a thick layer of glue because, let’s not forget, this frisbee will later be used by the children!
Step 8
Stick rhinestones all around the frisbee using Hasulith glue (this glue is particularly suitable for gluing rhinestones).
Let the glue dry for a day before using the frisbee.
