Discover a fun way to make a lovely turtle using a bowl and spoons!
This easy and enjoyable activity will allow children from the age of 3 to create a beautiful craft this summer.
By using some paint and shiny stickers, they will produce a magnificent turtle that they can proudly display in their rooms.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a beautiful turtle, you will need:
- a white sugarcane bowl
- 4 wooden spoons
- a half styrofoam ball (Ø 5.5 cm)
- green acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- rhinestone stickers (square and round)
- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 1.8 cm
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
- a black marker
Step 1
Paint the rounded side of 4 wooden spoons and the end of a spoon green.
Insert the half Styrofoam ball onto a wooden stick and then paint it with green paint.
Step 2
Flip the white bowl over and decorate it with shiny rhinestone stickers to create a beautiful shell for the turtle.
Step 3
Glue the half Styrofoam ball onto the side of the bowl using a glue gun.
Step 4
Cut the 4 heads of the spoons to make the legs, then the end of the spoon that will be used to create the turtle's tail.
Step 5
Glue the 4 legs and the tail of the turtle onto the edge of the bowl using the glue gun.
Step 6
Glue 2 googly eyes and then draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Step 7
Decorate the head and legs of the turtle using round rhinestone stickers.
