How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a giant pumpkin, you need:
- one of our pumpkin shape templates
- 6 large sheets of orange tissue paper (50 x 66 cm)
- a sheet of green thick paper
- a sheet of black thick paper
- some green satin cord
- double-sided adhesive tape
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
Layer 6 sheets of orange tissue paper.
Step 2:
Fold the sheets in half.
Step 3:
Cut the tissue paper at the fold to obtain 12 sheets.
Step 4:
Fold the sheets in an accordion style.
Step 5:
Round the two ends with a pair of scissors.
Step 6:
Make a double knot at the center of the accordion using a piece of green cord.
Tip: To be able to hang the pumpkin, take a long piece of cord.
Step 7:
Unfold the accordion to form a circle.
Step 8:
Unfold all the tissue paper sheets one by one.
Unfold as many sheets upwards as downwards to create a nice ball like in the photo.
Step 9:
Cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth of the pumpkin from a sheet of thick black paper.
Step 10 :
Cut the pumpkin's stem from a thick green sheet of paper.
Step 11:
Stick the elements onto the pumpkin using double-sided adhesive tape.
