Materials
To make a cat you will need:
- a small polystyrene pumpkin
- black acrylic paint and a brush
- 2 movable eyes Ø 18 mm
- a colored pom-pom
- one black chenille + one white chenille
- a black cardstock
- adhesive gel dots
- a pair of scissors
- a precision cutter
Step 1
Paint a polystyrene pumpkin with black paint and let it dry for about an hour.
TIP: Stick the pumpkin on a wooden skewer so you can paint it and let it dry without getting your fingers dirty!
Step 2
Stick 2 movable eyes Ø 18 mm and a colored pom-pom using adhesive dots.
Step 3
To make the cat's whiskers, cut 4 pieces of white chenille (about 4 cm) and then insert them into the pumpkin below the pom-pom.
Step 4
Cut out 2 small black triangles from a sturdy card to make the cat's ears.
Step 5
Step that may require adult assistance:
For a nice finish, make 2 cuts of about 2 cm on each side of the pumpkin's stem.
These will allow us to insert the cat's ears.
Step 6
Insert the black triangles into the slots.
Step 7
Wrap a black caterpillar to create the cat's tail.
Step 8
Insert the cat's tail into the polystyrene pumpkin.

Très bonne activité à faire avec une enfant de 3 ans et demi. Il faut juste faire les entailles mais pour le reste elle a su le faire toute seule, ce qui l'a rendue très fière ^^
