How to complete this tutorial step by step?

Materials

To make a firefly you will need:

- a plastic egg to fill (5.5 cm)

- a small wooden log (Ø 7 cm)

- leaf skeletons

- googly eyes

- a colored caterpillar

- adhesive ladybugs

- a black permanent marker

- a powerful LED candle

- adhesive dots

- a pair of scissors

Step 1

Cut a piece of pipe cleaner about 15 cm long, open the egg, and thread the pipe cleaner through the 2 holes located at the top of it.

Curl the 2 ends of the pipe cleaner to create the firefly's antennas.

Step 2

Stick 2 foam eyes on the top part of the egg, then draw a small smile and eyelashes with a fine-point black marker.

Step 3

To create realistic-looking wings, we will use skeleton leaves.

Select 2 leaves of the same color and cut them in half lengthwise with a pair of scissors.

Step 4

Glue 2 adhesive dots to the back of the egg (just above the joint between the 2 parts).

Glue the 4 pieces of paper onto the adhesive dots to create the wings of the firefly.

Step 5

Stick 2 adhesive dots under the egg and then attach it to the center of the wooden log.

Step 6

Glue small wooden ladybugs onto the base to give even more charm to your creation!

Step 7

Place an LED candle inside the egg to illuminate the firefly once night falls.
