With a simple cardboard bowl and a multitude of colorful ribbons, we will show you how to create a captivating craft activity to entertain children this summer!
Painting, sticking stickers, and adding accessories, children will have fun making beautiful colorful jellyfish using simple materials. Once the activity is complete, they can use clear thread to hang their jellyfish in their room, creating the illusion that they are floating in the air.
A whimsical ocean-themed decoration that will delight children!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a lovely jellyfish, you will need:
- a white bowl made of vegetable fiber (Ø 11 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- 2 googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- glitter mosaic stickers
- colored ribbon
- a black marker
- a push pin
- adhesive dots
- double-sided tape
- clear nylon thread
Step 1
Paint the bowl with acrylic paint and then let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Stick 2 moving eyes with adhesive dots, then draw a smile with a black marker.
Step 3
Decorate the bowl with sparkling adhesive mosaics for a burst of colors!
Step 4
Cut 16 pieces of ribbon approximately 30 cm long.
Step 5
Stick a piece of double-sided adhesive inside the bowl and then remove the protective film.
Step 6
Glue the 16 pieces of ribbon onto the adhesive to create the jellyfish tentacles.
Step 7
Curl the ribbons using the scissors blade to add even more volume to your creation.
Step 8
Insert a metal connector into the bowl in order to hang the jellyfish using clear nylon thread.
