Soft rubber linocut plate, very soft for easily engraving your designs. Carve with linocut tools and apply special linocut ink to print your patterns and drawings. An activity to discover or rediscover for printing your designs endlessly. Once the plate is engraved, apply a thin layer of paint with a roller to reveal the design; the carved areas will remain white, so consider your original drawing as a negative version.
Materials needed for linocut:
- A linocut plate
- A gouging tool for engraving
- An ink roller for applying the paint
- Linocut paint
- Paper
Tip: You can also create a small pattern and stick it on a wooden handle to make custom stamps.
