Each child can unleash their creativity by choosing their favorite colors and imagining unique bead combinations. The result: a personalized summer bracelet to wear proudly or to give to loved ones.
A fun activity that develops fine motor skills, concentration, and creativity, while allowing them to make a lovely summer accessory in just a few minutes.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a bracelet, you need:
- 3 chenille wires in different colors
- opaque large-hole beads
- tape
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
Cut the chenille wire to 26 cm for a child's wrist.
Note: Wrap the chenille wire around the child's wrist before the activity to know the exact size.
Step 2:
Start by twisting the ends of the three chenille wires together.
Step 3:
Secure the end of the bracelet with tape to hold it in place during the activity.
Step 4:
Start by threading the first bead onto the middle chenille wire.
Step 5:
Then, thread a bead of a different color onto all three chenille wires at the same time.
Step 6:
Continue the bracelet by alternating the following steps:
- thread a bead (here blue) onto the middle chenille wire (here yellow)
- then thread a bead (here purple) onto all three chenille wires at the same time.
Step 7:
To finish the bracelet, twist the three chenille wires together as at the beginning of the tutorial.
Step 8:
To close the bracelet, wrap the two ends around each other.
