Here is a unique activity for children on the theme of Christmas ! In this activity, we will transform a cardboard frame into a genuine Christmas fireplace.
An easy creative craft to do with children from the age of 5, to be done with the help of an adult.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Matériel :
Para fabricar una chimenea se necesita :
- Un marco de cartón blanco
- Una vela LED
- Una chenilla de color metalizado
- Cascabeles de colores
- Un gran lazo de tela
- Letras de madera « navidad »
- Papel de seda naranja y amarillo
- Una hoja de papel grueso negro
- Pintura marrón
- Un pincel de espuma
- Pastillas de gel adhesivo (glue dots)
- Un par de tijeras
Step 1:
Paint the cardboard frame with a foam brush to recreate a beautiful brick fireplace.
Let the paint dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Cut a rectangle measuring 22 x 17 cm from black card and then glue it inside the cardboard frame.
Step 3:
Cut out 5 "flames" from orange tissue paper and 5 "small flames" from a sheet of yellow tissue paper.
Step 4:
Glue the small yellow flames inside the large orange flames using adhesive dots.
Step 5:
Stick the flames inside the frame with adhesive dots.
Step 6:
Stick the wooden letters "Noël" on the lower part of the frame using two adhesive dots per letter.
Step 7:
Punch a small hole with a compass in the upper left corner of the frame, then pass a metallic chenille inside.
Step 8:
Thread a few jingle bells onto the chenille and then make a second hole with a compass at the top right of the frame to attach the chenille.
Step 9:
Glue a large fabric bow at the top of the chimney.
Step 10:
Slide an LED candle inside the frame (just behind the tissue paper flames).
