This Christmas craft is the perfect opportunity to teach children the technique for making wool pom poms.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a reindeer pompom, you will need:
- brown wool
- a pompom maker tool
- a sturdy brown card
- 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a colored pompom
- a tube of strong white glue
- a pair of precision scissors
Step 1
Choose the die to make the pom-poms in the diameter of your choice (here we used Ø 9 cm).
Assemble the 2 parts of the tool and wrap the wool around it.
Note: the more wool wrapped around the tool, the denser and more voluminous the pom-pom will be.
Step 2
Close the pompom tool in 2 with the plastic fasteners to form a circle.
Step 3
Place the blade of the scissors between the two parts of the tool and then cut the wool.
Étape 4
Once the wool is cut, cut a piece of wool about 40 cm long and pass it between the two parts of the tool.
Make a double knot by pulling tight to maintain the shape of the pompom.
Note: do not cut the two pieces of wool that protrude as they will be used to hang the pompom.
Step 5
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm and a red pom-pom with strong white glue (apply a generous layer for effective adhesion).
Step 6
Draw and then cut out the reindeer's wood from a strong brown card.
Étape 7
Apply white glue to the base of the sticks and then slide them into the pompom.
Press firmly for a few seconds to ensure the glue adheres to the wool of the pompom.
Step 8
Tie a double knot with the two strands of wool in order to hang the reindeer on the Christmas tree or in the house.

Bonjour, En effet nous n'avons actuellement pas d'yeux mobiles autocollants dans ce diamètre de 2,5 cm. C'est pour cela que nous préconisons dans ce tutoriel de les coller avec de la colle forte blanche :)
cette activité est vraiment superbe et très créative. Le seul problème c'est que le matériel est livré mais avec des yeux que l'on doit coller et non pas autocollants. malgré ce petit contre temps cette activité est superbe. ??
