How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a lovely reindeer, you will need:
- a wooden log (Ø 8 to 11 cm)
- a large wooden stick (15 cm)
- 10 mini wooden sticks (5.5 cm)
- brown paint and a brush
- 2 googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- 1 colored pom-pom
- a bow tie sticker
- round stickers
- a black marker
- some string
- a pair of scissors
- wood glue
Step 1
Paint one large stick and 10 small sticks with brown paint.
The sticks will be used to create the reindeer's antlers.
Step 2
Cut the large stick in half and then glue the two pieces onto the log with wood glue.
Step 3
Glue 3 small sticks to the base of the woods.
Step 4
Cut the remaining small sticks into 2 pieces and glue them onto the wood to strengthen it.
Step 5
Glue 2 googly eyes and a colored pompom to create the reindeer's nose.
Step 6
Glue a bow tie sticker at the top of the log and draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Complete the decoration by sticking two small round stickers under the reindeer's eyes to enhance the cute side.
Let the glue dry for about 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Step 7
Once the facial features are correctly glued, turn the log over.
Cut a piece of string measuring 15 cm, then tie the two ends together.
Glue the knot of the string behind the log using a dot of glue, then let it dry.
