Personalized Christmas Bauble with a Name

To make beautiful personalized balls, you need:

- air-drying white modeling clay

- a modeling mat and a rolling pin

- a Christmas ball cutter (Ø 8 cm)

- a stamp ruler with letters

- masking tape

- paint and a brush

- shiny adhesive ribbons

- small fabric bows

- golden cord

- a tube of strong white glue

- a pair of scissors

Take about 80 g of modeling dough, form a ball, and then flatten it on a modeling mat using a rolling pin.

Keep a thickness of 0.5 to 1 cm to create a solid Christmas ball.

Note: With 1 kg of modeling dough, you can make 10 to 15 Christmas balls, depending on their thickness.

Shape the Christmas ball by cutting the dough using the cookie cutter.

Place the letters on the ruler to form a name (or a word) to personalize the Christmas ball.

Note: you can personalize these balls with names up to 8 letters long.

Print the first name on the modeling dough ball.

Tip: Conduct a test beforehand on a piece of modeling dough to ensure that the letters of the first name are placed in the correct orientation!

Use a wooden stick or a toothpick to create a small hole at the top of the ball.

Then let the dough dry until the next day, trying to turn the ball after a few hours to ensure both sides dry well.

Place a piece of masking tape to outline the area to be painted.

Then, paint the lower part of the ball with acrylic paint.

Once the paint is dry, stick a shiny tape between the white area and the colored area to achieve a nice finish.

Glue a small fabric bow to the top of the sphere.

Attach a cord so that you can hang the personalized ball on the Christmas tree.
