Using a jar and strips of plaster, we are going to have fun making mummies.
With glow-in-the-dark paint, we can even make them shine in the dark for Halloween night.
An original decoration that will not go unnoticed !

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a glowing mummy you will need:
- a plastic jar
- plaster strips
- a plastic bowl
- 2 polystyrene balls Ø 3 cm
- a black paint marker
- glow-in-the-dark paint and a brush
- bat stickers
- a glue gun
Step 1
Cut about fifteen plaster strips measuring approximately 3 cm x 30 cm.
Step 2
Fill a bowl with water, dip the plaster strips into the water and then stick them around the plastic jar to create the mummy's bandage.
Leave the plaster strips to dry for a few hours.
Step 3
Once the strips are dry, apply glow-in-the-dark paint to them.
Tip: for even more glow, let dry for a few hours and then apply a second coat of paint.
Step 4
To create the 3D eyes of the mummy, we will use polystyrene balls Ø 3 cm.
Draw the center of the eye with a black paint marker.
Step 5
Glue the 2 eyes onto the jar using a glue gun.
Step 6
Draw the mouth of the mummy with a black paint marker.
Step 7
Decorate the top of the jar with bat stickers.
Step 8
Turn off the lights to admire the result in the dark!
