Phosphorescent Witch's Crystal Ball

To make a crystal ball, you will need:

- a transparent plastic ball (Ø 10 cm)

- a round wooden box (Ø 7.5 cm)

- black paint

- luminous gel

- a paintbrush

- shiny adhesive tape

- eye stickers

- spider stickers

- strong white glue

- a cotton swab

- a pair of scissors

Paint the wooden box (without the lid) with black acrylic paint and then let it dry for about 30 minutes.

Paint the inside of the plastic ball with the glow-in-the-dark gel.

We preferred the gel over glow-in-the-dark paint because it maintains the transparency of the ball for a more beautiful effect!

Before the glow-in-the-dark gel dries, clean the edges of each half-sphere with a cotton swab.

This will allow the two parts to fit together more easily.

Tip: you can apply a second layer of gel for even more glow-in-the-dark effect!

Put glue in the lid and then stick it onto the base of the wooden box.

Decorate the top of the box with shiny tape.

Complete the decoration of the box by sticking eye stickers around its edges.

Place the plastic ball on the wooden box.

To enhance the Halloween theme, glue a few spiders onto the crystal ball.

Once night falls, the crystal ball magically shines in the dark!
