Introduce this beautiful autumn season to your children with this fun tutorial to create a cute hedgehog in the middle of a small pile of leaves.
This easy activity will allow children to enjoy the autumn season while developing their creativity.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
For this activity, you will need:
- two slices of wood
- small wooden sticks (5.5 cm)
- adhesive rubber tree leaves
- two round stickers
- a pom-pom
- two googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- brown paint and a paintbrush
- a black permanent marker
- a glue gun
Step 1:
First, paint about 22 small wooden sticks with brown paint.
Then let them dry for 10 minutes.
Step 2:

Using a glue gun, stick a few craft sticks to the back of a slice of wood.
Step 3:

Next, glue other sticks onto the front face of the wooden slice to add volume.
Step 4:

Next, glue 2.5 cm round googly eyes and a pom-pom in the center of the wooden slice.
You can also add sticks to the back of the wooden slice for even more volume!
Step 5:
Draw a small mouth with a permanent marker and stick on 2 round stickers to form the hedgehog's cheeks.
Step 6:
This step may be reserved for adults:
Glue the hedgehog onto another slice of wood using the glue gun.
Step 7:
Finally, to complete your creation, stick adhesive rubber tree leaves onto the still-untouched edge of the wood.
