How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make this cactus, you will need:
- a white cardboard cup
- plastic pins
- a soft rubber rose
- 2 green pipe cleaners
- 2 black googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- green acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- a black paint marker
- adhesive gel dots
- a pair of scissors
- a precision cutter
Step 1:
To begin, paint a cardboard cup with green acrylic paint.
Then allow to dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 2:

Make 2 holes on each side of the cup using a cutter to insert the green caterpillars.
Step 3:
Insert one 20 cm piece of pipe cleaner through each of the two holes on either side, and then shape it to resemble a cactus branch.
Step 4:
Stick on 2 wiggle eyes and a soft rubber rose using adhesive dots.
Step 5:
Draw the mouth of the cactus with a black paint marker.
Step 6:

Make several small holes using a cutter so that the children can easily slide in the plastic pins afterwards.
Step 7:
Finally, insert the colored pins into the previously made holes.
