How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a beautiful 3D Christmas tree, you will need:
- a rectangular wooden base (15 x 22 cm)
- Christmas patterned paper
- Christmas stickers
- a cardboard half pot
- golden paint and a brush
- adhesive rhinestone strips
- a sturdy card base
- a ruler
- a pencil
- a pair of scissors
- a roll of adhesive foam
Step 1
Paint the half cardboard pot with gold paint and let it dry for about 45 minutes.
Step 2
Cut 5 squares from 5 patterned sheets of paper.
Sizes of the squares: 11 - 10 - 9 - 8 and 7 cm.
Step 3
Fold the first square in half.
Step 4
Fold one side so that the tip of the rectangle reaches the center of the opposite side (the folded part forms a triangle).
Step 5
Make the same fold on the other side to create a triangle.
Step 6
Make the same fold with the other 4 patterned paper squares.
Step 7
Cut a strip of double-sided adhesive foam measuring 17 cm and then stick it to the center of the wooden support starting from the edge.
Step 8
Glue the paper triangles onto the adhesive strip, starting with the smallest one (the tip of the tree).
Glue the triangles with a gap of about 2 to 3 cm.
Step 9
Glue the cardboard pot onto the adhesive strip below the tree.
Step 10
Stick a star sticker at the top of the tree and then decorate the bottom of the tree with stickers to create a lovely little Christmas scene.
Step 11
Decorate the edge of the wooden base with adhesive rhinestone strips.
Step 12
Tip: To display the children's artwork, you can use our cardboard supports to attach to the back of the creations!
