How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty snowman, you will need:
- a small round wooden box
- a polystyrene ball (Ø 7 cm)
- a polystyrene cone (11 cm)
- 2 colored mega chenille stems
- a colored pom-pom
- 2 googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- twigs
- round rhinestone stickers
- star stickers
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut the tip of the polystyrene cone (about 2 cm) and then glue the ball on top using a hot glue gun.
Step 2
Glue 2 large googly eyes onto the polystyrene ball.
Step 3
Create the snowman's nose by cutting a carrot shape from a star sticker.
Use round gem stickers to create the snowman's mouth and the buttons on its body.
Step 4
Use a mega chenille and create a small "roll" to form the base of the snowman's hat.
Step 5
Stick the caterpillar on the snowman's head and then attach a large colored pom-pom in the center of the hat.
Step 6
Wrap a caterpillar between the head and body of the snowman to create a scarf.
Step 7
Stick 2 small twigs into the polystyrene cone to create the character's arms.
Tip: Make holes using the scissors' blade to facilitate the insertion of the twigs into the polystyrene.
Step 8
Glue the lid underneath the wooden box using the hot glue gun to create a base with a small "molding".
Step 9
Decorate the wooden box with star stickers.
