Today we are learning to make pretty paper butterflies with shiny stickers!
A simple activity idea to do at home with children.
For this craft, you will simply need colored paper sheets and beautiful stickers.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a butterfly, you need:
- Colored paper sheets (300 g/m² - A4 size)
- Shiny stickers
- Two googly eyes (Ø 1.8 cm)
- A black permanent marker
- A pair of scissors
- Adhesive dots
- A pencil
- A stapler
Step 1:
To begin, fold a sheet of colored paper in half and draw a butterfly wing.
Step 2 :
Cut along the line and unfolding the wings will ensure that they are perfectly symmetrical.
Step 3:
Using adhesive dots, stick the wings onto a sheet of another color.
Step 4 :
Cut out a rectangle of approximately 11 x 21 cm from a sheet of colored paper to create the body of the butterfly.
Step 5:
Wrap the paper strip and staple.
Step 6:
Stick the roll to the center of the butterfly's wings with adhesive dots.
Step 7:
Then cut two strips of approximately 1 x 15 cm from a sheet of colored paper.
Wrap the ends around a pencil to create the butterfly's antennas.
Step 8 :
With adhesive dots, stick the antennas inside the roll.
Step 9:
Cut out four small clouds from a sheet of white paper.
Step 10:
Stick the clouds using adhesive dots on the colored background.
Step 11:
Stick on two moveable eyes.
Step 12:
Draw the butterfly's mouth with a black marker.
Step 13:
Finally, decorate the butterfly's wings with pretty shiny stickers.
