Plastiroc Leaves Mobile

You will need:

- Plastiroc self-hardening clay.

- A roller.

- A protective mat.

- 1 spool of string.

- 1 plastic spatula.

- Acrylic paint, shiny, green and white.

- 1 driftwood branch.

Optional: varnish if you want to display your creation outdoors.

Take half of the dough, form a ball, then flatten it with a rolling pin. Keep an average thickness of 4/5 mm.

Use the spatula to draw leaf shapes into the dough. Create at least 15 leaves. 

Still using the spatula, create a hole at the top of each leaf. Then draw the veins of the leaf, on both the front and back sides.

Let dry for a few hours. 

Align the leaves under the stick to see the placement of each one. 

You should have a series of 5 leaves at the top, then below four leaves, and so on until there is only one leaf at the end. 

Prepare your paint on a palette. Put the same amount of green five times, then in the 2nd dose add 1 dose of white; in the 3rd, add two doses of white, in the 4th, add three doses of white, and finally in the 5th dose of green, add four doses of white. 

Paint the leaves. The highest row with the lightest mix, and so on until the last leaf which will be the darkest. 

If you want to place your creation outside, varnish the leaves once the paint is dry.

Using the spool of thread, attach the first row of leaves to the stick. Then make the other rows one after the other.

Here is the result, once everything is assembled.

Add a string at the top of the stick to hang it.
