For Halloween, we will create a frightfully cute decoration using a coffin and a spoon. With these two accessories, children can make a little vampire in a coffin illuminated by a candle.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity you will need:
- a small wooden coffin
- a small wooden spoon
- paint (black and red) and a paintbrush
- a black paint marker
- 2 glass eyes
- a pumpkin sticker
- bat stickers
- adhesive rhinestone strips
- paper curls
- adhesive dots
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the inside of the coffin red and the outside black.
Tip: use a black paint marker for the edges.
Step 2
Once the paint is dry, stick a pumpkin sticker on the lid of the coffin.
Step 3
Decorate the spoon with black paint marker (body, hair, mouth) to create the vampire, then stick on 2 glass eyes using adhesive dots.
Step 4
Cut the tip of the spoon (about 2 cm) with a pair of scissors.
Decorate the body of the vampire with a strip of rhinestones.
Step 5
Fill the coffin with paper curls.
Step 6
Place the spoon in the coffin and insert an electric candle inside. Decorate the coffin with bat stickers for a nice finish.
Tip: Place an adhesive dot behind the "neck" of the vampire to hold it against the lid.
