For this fun craft, we will paint red half clothespins and a half polystyrene ball.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a crab, you will need:
- A half ball made of polystyrene (Ø 9.5 cm)
- A square wooden base (18 x 18 cm)
- 10 half clothespins (7.2 cm)
- Driftwood branches (8 cm)
- Shells
- Two googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- Yellow, blue, and red paint + a paintbrush
- A permanent marker
- A glue gun
Step 1:
To begin, paint the wooden support with acrylic paint: one half blue representing the sea and one half yellow representing the sand.
Step 2:
Then paint the polystyrene half-ball as well as 10 clothespins in red.
Let everything dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 3:
Using a glue gun, glue 6 half clothespins onto the flat side of the half-sphere to form the crab's legs.
Step 4:
Make the crab's pincers by gluing the half-pincers together.
Step 5:
Glue the claws onto the crab's body.
Step 6:
Still using the hot glue gun, glue the crab to the wooden base.
Step 7:
Glue 2 moveable eyes Ø 2.5 cm.
Step 8:
To decorate the sand, glue some small accessories like seashells or driftwood branches.
Step 9:
Finally, draw a mouth with a black permanent marker.
