- Paint and Decorate: Turn a simple cone into a giant carrot by painting it a beautiful bright orange.
- Add the Greens: Cut and plant green chenilles to bring your vegetable to life.
- Assemble the Scene: Glue the carrots, rabbits, and marbles onto a nice wooden log for a perfect finish.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a wooden log
- a small polystyrene cone (11 cm)
- orange acrylic paint and a brush
- 2 green pipe cleaners
- small resin rabbits
- small polystyrene carrots
- adhesive cabochons
- a hot glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the styrofoam cone with orange acrylic paint to create the large carrot. Let it dry for 30 minutes.
Tip: Insert the cone onto a wooden stick to paint without getting your hands dirty!
Step 2
Cut about 10 pieces of 5 cm from 2 green pipe cleaners.
Step 3
Insert the pieces of caterpillars into the polystyrene cone to create the leaves of the carrot.
Step 4
Cut the tip of the carrot (about 2 cm) with a pair of scissors to make it easier to glue in the next step.
Step 5
Decorate the edge of the wooden log with adhesive gems.
Step 6
Create a lovely Easter scene by gluing the large carrot, the small rabbits, and the little carrots onto the wooden log.
Note: We used a glue gun to make it easier to attach the carrots vertically.
