Create unforgettable memories with your children for Easter by decorating Easter bells made of polystyrene!
In this activity, we suggest attaching paper flowers with pins and drawing their stamens with 3D paint. A simple and fun craft for children aged 8 and up, which will help decorate the garden for Easter by hanging them in trees or placing them in the garden.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a floral bell, you need:
- an 8.5 cm polystyrene bell
- paper flowers
- pins
- a rhinestone bow tie
- 3D paint pens
- adhesive lace
- a metallic pin attachment
- clear nylon thread
- adhesive gel dots
- a tube of glue
Step 1:
To begin, stick adhesive lace all around the base of the bell.
Step 2:
Using glue sticks, stick paper flowers by layering different sizes and colors like this.
Step 3:
WARNING this step may require the help of an adult.
Attach the flowers to the polystyrene dome using small pins.
Note: younger children can stick the paper flowers onto the polystyrene using adhesive dots!
Step 4:
Create small dots of 3D paint in their centers to form the pistil and between the paper flowers.
Step 5:
Glue a rhinestone bow tie to the top of the bell with an adhesive dot.
Step 6:
Attach a metal hook to the top of the polystyrene bell and tie a piece of 30 cm nylon thread so that you can hang the Easter bell.
