Glow-in-the-Dark Magic Potion
With this original activity, children will turn into little wizards by decorating their own Halloween lantern! Starting with a simple translucent cup, they can create the illusion of a strange potion overflowing from a cauldron using a repositionable paint that resembles slime. Add a label styled like a wicked elixir, a few small accessories (pumpkins, spiders, bats...), an LED candle to make it all shine, and you're all set!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a translucent plastic cup
- a wooden log (Ø 8 to 11 cm)
- repositionable green paint
- magical potion stickers
- a miniature pumpkin
- a small spider
- bat stickers
- an LED candle
- a glue gun
Step 1
Stick a magical potions label on the cup.
Step 2
Glue the cup to the right side of the log using a hot glue gun.
Step 3
Place the nozzle of the repositionable paint bottle on the edge of the cup and add paint (not too much, not too little) along the edge.
Note: We used repositionable paint for its ideal texture to create drips and its translucent appearance, which will look stunning!
Step 4
Make a paint "seal" between the bottom of the cup and the log.
Then let the paint dry for a few hours.
Step 5
Glue a small pumpkin and a spider to the side of the cup using the glue gun.
Step 6
Stick bat stickers onto the cup for an even more terrifying decoration.
Step 7
Place a LED candle in the cup.
Step 8
Turn off the lights to admire the result in the dark.
