With a simple paper bag, some markers, and a mini LED bulb, children can create beautiful glowing ghosts for Halloween. This craft activity is perfect for creating a mysterious Halloween decoration at home or in class. Just draw a ghost face on the bag and insert a small LED light inside to get an original and fun ghost lantern.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a glowing ghost, you will need:
- a white paper bag
- a mini LED bulb
- acrylic markers
- a printable template (click here)
- a pair of scissors
- a hole punch
- a cutting mat
Step 1
Draw a ghost face on the bag using acrylic markers.
Tip: print our face template here, this will allow children to get inspired and copy the ghost faces.
Step 2
Cut the bottom of the bag into waves or zigzags for a nice finish.
Step 3
Use the hole punch to make a hole at the bottom of the bag (going through the inside).
This hole will allow you to attach the small LED bulb.
Step 4
This step may require adult assistance.
Pinch the end of the LED bulb cord and pass it through the hole at the bottom of the bag. This step requires a bit of precision.
Step 5
Pull the string of the bulb to turn on the light and illuminate your ghost in the dark.
To turn off the bulb, simply pull the string a second time.
Step 6
A quick and easy activity that will allow you to create a real army of ghosts in no time!
Step 7
Tip: thanks to the bulb's string, you can easily hang these ghosts around the house to give the impression that they are floating in the air!
