How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a beautiful Easter display you will need:
- an iridescent sheet
- a white cardboard egg (12 cm)
- Easter stickers
- a colored fabric bow
- a white paint marker
- a corner punch
- a sturdy cardstock base
- a pair of scissors
- adhesive dots
- a photo
Step 1
Cut a iridescent sheet into 4 identical pieces (12 x 17 cm).
Step 2
For a nice finish, round the corners of the card with a special punch.
Step 3
Create an edge inside the frame by drawing white patterns using a paint marker.
Step 4
Cut the egg in half for a broken eggshell effect.
Note: the egg carton being quite thick, assistance from an adult may be needed for this step.
Step 5
To be done before the activity: take a photo of the child with their arms in the air, print the photo, and then cut it out (about 10 cm in height).
Note: you can also laminate the photo before cutting it out!
Step 6
Paste the photo and then the 2 parts of the shell to create the effect of a child coming out of the egg.
Use adhesive dots for easy sticking.
Step 7
Stick a colored knot to the top of the egg using a glue dot.
Step 8
Assemble and glue the cardboard base to the back of your creation so that it can be displayed in the house!
