How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create marbling balls, you will need:
- ping-pong balls
- marbling effect paint
- a bucket filled with water
- skewers
- a cutter
- an electric candle
Step 1:
Step reserved for adults:
Using a craft knife, make a hole in the ping pong ball and push a skewer inside it.
This will help keep the ball steady for dipping it in the paint.
Step 2:
Fill a bucket or basin with water.
Step 3:
Shake the bottles, then add a few drops of the first marbling paint color (starting with the darkest).
Step 4:
Then multiply the colors (from the darkest to the lightest).
Step 5:
To create a beautiful marbled effect, take a wooden stick and gently mix the colors.
Step 6:
Then gently dip the ball, prepared in the first step, into the paint using the skewer.
Step 7:
Once the support is completely submerged, there will be paint remaining on the surface.
Simply blow gently at the surface of the water to push away this excess paint.
Step 8:
The marbled effect appears clearly as it comes out of the water.
Let the ball dry for about 1 hour.
Step 9:
Step reserved for adults:
Enlarge the existing hole for the candle using a cutter, and place the candle inside the ball.
Step 10
All that is left to do is turn off the light and light the candle so the planets shine in the dark!
