How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create this lovely Christmas tree, you will need:
- a wooden tree (17 cm)
- a polystyrene disc (Ø 8 cm)
- green paint and a brush
- round stickers
- a fabric bow
- strip of burlap
- a strip of adhesive rhinestones
- 2 small snowmen made of pom poms
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the wooden tree with green acrylic paint and then let it dry for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 2
While the paint dries, let's work on the base of the creation.
Cut a strip of burlap measuring 28 cm x 3 cm and then glue it around the polystyrene disc using a hot glue gun.
Step 3
Stick an adhesive rhinestone strip above the burlap for a shiny finish.
Step 4
Stick 4 wooden letters "NOËL" on the edge of the base.
Step 5
Glue a large fabric bow at the top of the Christmas tree using the glue gun.
Step 6
Decorate the tree with colorful round stickers.
Step 7
Make a small slit in the center of the polystyrene disc with a pair of scissors and then insert the tree into the base.
Step 8
Glue small snowmen to add a cute touch to your creation!
