How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a Santa Claus, you will need:
- a round wooden base (Ø 18 cm)
- cotton balls
- Christmas patterned paper
- 2 large pom-poms
- round stickers
- two googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- a sturdy card easel
- white glue
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
Start by gluing a large pompom and two wiggle eyes (Ø 2.5 cm) in the center of the round wooden base.
Step 2:
Cut out a hat shape from the Christmas-patterned paper.
Step 3:
Glue the cap onto the wooden base using white glue.
Step 4:
Apply white glue to the areas where Santa Claus's beard and hair will be placed.
Step 5:
Fray the cotton balls to give them a soft texture.
About 11 cotton balls will be needed to completely cover the surface.
Step 6:
Glue the frayed cotton pieces onto all the glued areas.
Step 7:
Glue a large colored pompom on the tip of the hat.
Step 8:
Glue two small pink stickers to create Santa Claus's cheeks.
Step 9:
Place Santa Claus on a cardboard easel to proudly display him in the house.
