Each child can customize their flower pot according to their tastes by choosing their own colors and patterns to create a beautiful spring floral creation !
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make tissue paper flowers, you will need:
- a wooden base (12.5 cm × 8.5 cm)
- a half paper mache pot
- air-drying modeling clay
- squares of tissue paper
- a skewer stick
- adhesive felt flowers
- rhinestones
- a green marker
- acrylic paint
- a brush
- glue
Step 1:
Paint the half-pot with acrylic paint.
Tip: Paint the half-pot at the beginning of the activity to allow the paint to dry properly during the other steps.
Step 2:
Make two thick circles with the modeling dough on the wooden base.
Tip: Consider the height of the pot to ensure there is enough space to glue it.
Step 3:
Using the "round" side of the skewer, push the silk squares into the modeling dough.
Step 4:
Draw 2 stems with a green pencil and glue the half-pot onto the wooden support.
Step 5:
Add rhinestones to the pot and the sides of the holder, and a felt flower in the middle of the pot.
