How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty sparkling decoration, you will need:
- a transparent plastic egg (in 2 parts)
- white batting
- a strip of adhesive rhinestones
- round rhinestone stickers
- a colored fabric bow
- a golden cord
- a natural wood bead (Ø 15 mm)
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Open the plastic egg, fill it with white cotton, then close it.
Step 2
Cut a strip of adhesive rhinestones measuring 22 cm, then stick it onto the plastic egg above the joint between the two parts.
Step 3
Tip: to make the gluing process easier in the next step, you can remove the outline of the round rhinestone stickers. This way, young children will be able to handle the stickers more easily.
Step 4
Decorate the egg by sticking on colorful shiny gem stickers.
Step 5
Glue a wooden bead to the top of the egg using a glue gun.
Make sure that the 2 holes of the bead are easily accessible.
Step 6
Glue a colored fabric bow onto the wooden bead.
Step 7
Pass a cord through the bead so that you can hang your decoration.
Practical: with our snap-on golden cords, there's no need to fuss with knots!
