In this easy Christmas craft, children will create a Christmas reindeer picture using their handprint!
A Christmas craft that children of all ages will love!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a reindeer board you will need:
- a square wooden base
- a glitter spray varnish
- brown paint and a paintbrush
- about 11 pom-poms
- a glitter heart sticker
- a multicolored ribbon bow
- 2 googly eyes Ø 1.8 cm
- a black paint marker
- adhesive gel dots
Step 1:
To begin, paint the wooden surface with white paint, then add glitter using a glitter spray varnish.
Tip: spray from a distance of 25 cm and let it dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Apply brown acrylic paint with a brush to the inside of a child's hand.
Step 3:
Quickly place the hand on the wooden support and press firmly to transfer the handprint onto it.
Then wash the child's hand with water and soap before the paint dries.
Step 4:
Let the handprint dry for 20 minutes, then stick two Ø 1.8 cm googly eyes with adhesive gel dots.
Step 5:
Next, stick a glitter heart sticker to form the little red nose of the reindeer.
Step 6:
With a paint marker, draw the mouth of the reindeer and a line with swirls above the handprint.
Step 7:
Using adhesive gel dots, stick pom poms along the line to create a Christmas garland.
Étape 8 :
Finally, stick a ribbon bow in the reindeer's wood using the provided adhesive dots.
